Spatial sequencing and the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces are key to the design approach. The layout of the villas and guest rooms is designed to create a soothing progression from more enclosed indoor spaces to more open ones, and finally to landscaped outdoor settings. Daybeds, terraces, and open bathrooms are transitional pieces that let natural light, vegetation, and water features into the living space, shaping the guest journey.

Simplify and prioritize tactile quality when selecting materials. By layering natural finishes like wood, stone, and textured fabrics, visual clarity is maintained while warmth and depth are created. To avoid clashing with the tropical setting, the color palette is purposefully muted, lending credence to an enduring aesthetic.

Lighting is thoughtfully incorporated to elevate the ambiance of the space. Indirect lighting creates an atmosphere of coziness and serenity all day long, while warm, gentle illumination emphasizes architectural features and material textures.
